The Wesley Memorial Church Garden Party took place towards the end of summer this year – but the sun still shone (some of the time) and we had a wonderful time, Phab and Church members, and visitors from as far afield as Cumbria.
There were plenty of scones, and tea and cakes and opportunities to chat.
We even celebrated a birthday – though the wind meant there was no need to blow out the candles.
Thanks to many kind donors we raised over £720 for club funds. We are very grateful to Liz and Terry for hosting, and all those who baked, moved furniture, put and dismantled gazebos, provided transport and all the other behind the scenes activities which made it possible.
