Bingo is always popular, and our members, their families and other supporters had provided us with a good selection of prizes.
Some were edible, some festive and decorative, some chocolate and some not. The bowl at the left hand end contains mini-prizes – little chocolate sprouts and Christmas puddings, etc. After one of our members has won a main prize and wins again then they take a mini prize to distribute the larger prizes more fairly.
Our versatile Club Leader, Tom, also acts a Bingo Caller, and we play for one horizontal line, then two, and then a full house. At the end of the evening we keep playing the same board until everyone has won a prize.
As someone had generously donated a current container of Celebrations, and we keep the bottle caps we use as Bingo markers in an old Celebrations tin we could not help noticing the change over time.
