Off in our minibus to Chichester for a Phab South East Fun Weekend
Going round Oxford and Abingdon, loading
Lunch at MacDonalds
We checked in to the hotel, and unpacked in our rooms, and then it was time for the ice breaker activity.
Mingling in the bar, trying to find people Chelsea supporters and people who are allergic to cats. A good icebreaker as there are people from all over the South East here.
During the meal we were entertained by an excellent singer.
The meals at the hotel were good – here we have reached the coffee stage, still enjoying the entertainment.
This was followed by more chatting and entertainment until people drifted off to bed.

Quiz night
We had a quiz using Simon’s laptop and the projector we bought for the club when he won the Paul Hope Award.
Here he is setting up.
We split into teams.
and BOTH teams ended up as (virtual) millionaires!
Noodle Night !
We had already given our menu choices for meals from Noodle Nation and they had been told what we wanted and had it all ready for us to collect. They had even labelled all the containers with whose order it was, which made distributing them very simple.
Mary had baked biscuits for desert for anyone who still had a space !

Mary receives the Paul Hope Award
At a ceremony at the House of Lords Mary was awarded the Paul Hope Award for all her contributions to Oxford Phab, Phab South East and Phab Nationally over many years.
Here is Mary with Jackie of Unity 70. For the first time the award was shared between these two very deserving candidates.
Here is a video of her receiving the award.
There is an item about Mary receiving the award in the Autumn 2015 issue of KIT – the Phab magazine.
Jesus Chris Superstar
We went to Jesus Christ Superstar at the New Theatre. Fast paced with plenty of excellent musical numbers.
